Throughout this module, I have been able to enquire knowledge on the various terminologies in the field of building construction. I have learned about the many materials of a building and how every material is different in terms of application and functionality. This has helped me in my design as I am now able to identify problems that are related to the construction and materiality of buildings. I managed to deepen my understanding in timber construction thanks to the second assignment which was a huge help in my AD2 project. The group assignments were really great as we displayed great teamwork to overcome some of the problems we faced although the assignment was a bit rushed. I would also like to express my gratitude towards the tutors that helped and guided me with my work throughout the semester.
