In this assignment, we were required to formulate ideas on how to maximize daylight and thermal comfort for any chosen modern house that can be either a double storey corner lot or a double storey semi-detached house in a group of six. We also had to conduct data collection and observation of the house. Our findings were to be compiled into two A2 sized boards.
We chose one of our friend's house which was a double storey terrace house in Puchong. The attic and the family hall were chosen as two separate spaces for analysis. Temperature analysis was conducted in the attic while daylighting analysis was conducted in the family hall.
